THE NORWEGIAN MINING INSPECTORATE HAS APPROVED METAL PROSPECTING AS (METPRO) EXPLOITATION PERMITS FOR FOUR OF THE COMPANIES PROJECTS IN THE GRONG DISTRICT

Summary: With exploitation permits approved, MetPro has taken a big step towards establishing a mining operation in the Grong District, Nord-Tröndelag.

The exploitation permits was approved by the Mining Inspectorate on March 15th, 2017. The permits encompasses several of MetPros projects in the Grong District including the main mineralisation Skiftesmyr but also Godejord and two mineralisations in Finnbu. The permits are valid for 10 years after approval.

With the exploitation permits approved, MetPro are allowed to perform small scale mining and to keep expanding the resources with core drilling. MetPro’s focus is to expand the resources on the main mineralisation in Skiftesmyr towards depth to allow for a full scale mining operation. The potential resources from Godejord and Finnbu will at a later stage be added for a combined mining operation.

With the exploitation permits approved, MetPro’s possibilities to produce important metals to society is greatly improved.

MetPro has also decided to keep two highly prospective exploration permits for a possibility to further increase the mineral resources in the Grong District.
